More Control Over Your AI-Written Book: Introducing Section-by-Section Creation
Until now, creating a book with Qyx AI Book Creator worked one way: you told our AI what you wanted, reviewed and possibly edited its proposed table of contents and introduction/first chapter, paid, and a few minutes to a few hours later a complete, polished manuscript landed in your account. It’s fast, it’s hands-off, and for most people it’s exactly what they want.
But some of you told us you wanted to be more involved — to see each chapter as it’s written, put your own stamp on it, and steer the story or argument as it takes shape. So we built it. Say hello to section-by-section book creation.
Two ways to write your book
When you create a book now, you’ll reach a new step just before payment where you choose how your book gets written:
- Automatic (recommended) — The original experience. After payment, we write the entire book for you automatically using our highest-quality AI models. You’ll receive the finished manuscript with no further steps required. It’s the easiest option and requires the least work on your part — and, as always, you’re free to edit the finished book however you like.
- Section by section — The new option for writers who want more control. You review each chapter the moment it’s written, edit anything you like, and approve it before it’s added to your book. Then you write the next one, whenever you’re ready.
Both options use the exact same AI and produce the same high quality. The only difference is how much you’re involved along the way. You also get the entire book as a plain text file when it’s done in both cases, so you can always make any further edits you wish at your end before publishing it.
How section-by-section works
If you choose the section-by-section option, here’s what your writing experience looks like:
- Write a chapter. From your account, click Write Chapter and our AI gets to work. It usually takes a few minutes.
- Review and edit. The finished chapter appears in an editable box. Read it over, change a little or a lot — it’s completely up to you.
- Approve it. When you’re happy, save it to your book. Then write the next chapter, or stop for now and come back later.
The best part: every chapter is written based on the chapters you’ve already approved. So when you edit a chapter — changing a character’s direction, tightening an argument, adjusting the tone — those changes carry forward and shape everything that comes after. You’re not just proofreading; you’re steering the whole manuscript as it’s built.

There’s no rush and nothing to lose. Your progress is saved automatically after every approved chapter, so you can write one chapter today, three tomorrow, and the rest next week. Just head to My Book Requests in your account and pick up right where you left off. You can even download the chapters written so far at any time.

Maybe you want to shape the first few chapters yourself and then let us handle the rest. No problem. At any point during the section-by-section process, you can hand the remainder over to our automatic writer with a single click. We’ll finish every remaining chapter for you and email you when your completed book is ready — no further steps needed.
